National Rice Foundations are established in major rice-growing countries of Asia to undertake rice programs, projects and activities that are relevant to the needs and constraints of the respective countries. They are federated together, with the Asia Rice Foundation (ARF) serving as the umbrella agency to help coordinate and provide support to their respective programs.
Currently, there are five national rice foundations (NRFs), one each in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand. Learn more about them. Click each name.
The ARF is inviting interested individuals and/or organizations in other countries to help establish national rice foundations in their countries. Interested parties can contact the ARF for guidelines and assistance.
